Big Adventures Start with a Little Check-Up!

Is your little one 3 years old? From 1 November 2026, they'll be eligible for a 3 Year Old Health Check at our practice!

This fun and important check helps make sure your child is growing, learning and thriving as they get ready for their preschool years and beyond.

First, they'll spend time with one of our friendly Practice Nurses, then they'll see their GP for a comprehensive check-up and a chat about any questions you might have.

We'll cover things like:

• Growth and physical health
• Development and learning
• Speech and communication
• Vision and hearing
• Nutrition and sleep
• Behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Oral health and safety

These checks are a fantastic way to celebrate all the amazing things your child is achieving, while also identifying any areas where a little extra support might help.

Even better, this health assessment is supported by an MBS item number, meaning the Medicare rebate covers the cost, and there's no out-of-pocket expense for eligible children.

If your child is already 3, don't wait too long. Be sure to book their Health Check before they turn 4 so they're eligible for the bulk-billed assessment.
