GHFP Nurture Welcomes Dr Declan Hilder and Dr Jyoti Maulder

We’re delighted to welcome two new doctors to the GHFP Nurture team this August - Dr Declan Hilder and Dr Jyoti Maulder

Their arrival means something many in our community have been waiting for… GHFP Nurture will be accepting new patients!

Welcome Dr Declan Hilder

Declan joins us from Lenah Valley Medical Centre and trained through the University of Tasmania, with experience across regional and tertiary hospitals. With a background in emergency, rural, and acute care medicine, Declan brings a calm, capable approach to patient care. He also has a genuine love of the ocean and is passionate about improving access to dive medical services in Southern Tasmania.

Welcome back Dr Jyoti Maulder

Jyoti rejoins GHFP Nurture following a maternity break, returning to practice with a wealth of experience and a warm, patient-centred approach.

Originally from Northern Tasmania, Jyoti completed her medical degree at UTAS and worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, before entering general practice in 2024. She has special interests in women’s and children’s health, holding a Certificate in Women’s Health (RANZCOG) and completing the Sydney Child Health Program. Jyoti is passionate about caring for people from all walks of life and building long-term relationships with patients and families. Outside of work, Jyoti enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and being with her young family.

With Dr Declan and Dr Jyoti joining the team, we’re excited to continue growing a practice focused on accessible, high-quality, and compassionate care for our community.
