Dr Alice Frampton
Alice grew up locally and obtained her medical degree at UTAS in 2002. Alice and her family live in Howrah, and are passionate about Hobart’s eastern shore, with most of their extended family currently living in Clarence. The opportunity to start a new medical centre in the area is something Alice and her husband worked on for several years before seeing their dream come to life in 2017.
Alice has been working as a General Practitioner since 2005 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Alice enjoys complex care and chronic disease management, working with patients of Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander origin to close the gap, and palliative care.
Alice loves really getting to know people and their families, and feels that it's a privilege to be part of people's health journeys, during their happiest and their most difficult times.
Alice enjoys learning with Medical Students and GP Registrars, and is passionate about doctor's self-care and sustainability in General Practice.
Outside of work, Alice loves being a mum, cooking, gardening and keeping in touch with friends.
