Men's Health Care
GP's practicing at Glebe Hill Family Practice and GHFP Nurture provide comprehensive health care for their male patients.
Men's health needs can be complex and varied. It's recommended that men and boys have a check up with their General Practitioner at least once a year, to allow for optimal preventative health care, and screening for the detection of potential health issues.
Your General Practitioner can work with you to manage:
- Stress, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues
- Cardiovascular risk screening and management, including ECG
- Diabetes screening and management
- Sexually transmitted infections (STI) screening and advice
- Sexual health problems including erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation
- Vasectomy
- Smoking cessation
- Alcohol dependence
- Lifestyle modification and obesity management
- Prostate disease screening and management
- Kidney health check
When booking an appointment, it is suggested you mention to Reception whether you need a full health check so that sufficient time can be booked.
