We have exciting Part Time opportunities for experienced nurses to join our inclusive team at Glebe Hill Family Practice and GHFP Nurture. We’re looking for confident nurses who are driven, caring and motivated to work on improving health outcomes in a collaborative, respectful team environment.

Key Practice Nurse duties and responsibilities:

Our Practice Nurses coordinate and provide patient care, ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice and support GPs. Duties include:

  • Patient care including wound care, immunisation, spirometry, triage, procedural assistance, health assessments, and proactive nurse-led chronic disease management
  • Involvement in quality improvement projects
  • Infection control 
  • Sharing knowledge and coaching peers
  • Immunisation and cold-chain management
  • Ordering and stock management

To be considered you will need:

  • Relevant nursing experience (General Practice Nursing experience is desired but not essential)
  • A growth mindset, an excellent attitude and great communication skills 
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • The ability to connect with and motivate patients from all walks of life
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills
  • Current AHPRA registration and CPR certification
