New Patients
Current capacity for new patients
Allied Health Professionals:
New patients are currently being accepted by the Physiotherapists at Glebe Hill Family Practice.
General Practitioners:
As of May 2024, due to current capacity, none of the GPs at Glebe Hill Family Practice or GHFP Nurture are accepting new patients. Family members of existing patients in the local area (on the same Medicare Card) may be accommodated - new patient appointment enquiries can be made by phone.
Travel Clinic:
New patients are welcome to book into the Travel Clinic at GHFP Nurture, but we do not have the capacity to provide ongoing General Practice care currenlty.
How to make an appointment
When we are accepting new patient bookings you can book a New Patient appointment by booking online on the free AMS Connect app, via this website, or by phoning us.
Your GP requires a 30 minute appointment for your first visit to ensure adequate time for the doctor to get to know you and to populate the clinical records.
We pre-authorise payment for your New Patient appointment by taking your credit card details on booking so that if you fail-to-attend the appointment the fee for non-attendance is automatically processed.
For more information about our Fees click here.
What to bring to your appointment:
- Your Medicare Card
- Concession Cards
And, if you have time, please bring a written list of:
- Past medical history
- Family medical history
- Hospital admissions or surgeries
- Allergies and previous adverse reactions to medication
- Current Medications (or just bring your medications with you!).
Your New Patient Registration Form must be completed before seeing the practitioner. This is done online via the sms secure link sent to your mobile phone after booking your New Patient appointment.
This will enable more efficient use of your consultation time with your practitioner.
We look forward to meeting you!
