Meet the team
Rebecca
Rebecca joined the GHFP team in October 2022, with many years experience in medical administration.Rebecca loves working in a team and getting to know the patients and their families.When not at work Rebecca loves bushwalking, cooking and reading.
Teana Grainger
Teana joined the GHFP team as a Receptionist in september 2022, with previous medical administration and management experience. Teana took on the role of Assistant Practice Manager and then in July 2024 became Practice Manager.
Dr Roger Booth
Roger trained in medicine at the University of Tasmania. Roger enjoys the variety of general practice with particular interest in preventative health, men’s health and occupational medicine (including workers compensation).
Dr Yee Yoon Ng
Yee Yoon graduated from the University of New South Wales, and worked in Queensland before moving to Tasmania to work in general practice. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, and has a special interest in palliative care.
Dr Parth Patel
Dr Patel graduated from medical school overseas and then worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital from 2019 to 2022. Dr Patel enjoyed working in various areas in the hospital.
Khya Calvert
Khya lives locally and joined the GHFP team in June 2022, bringing over 10 years of experience in managing an Optometric Practice. Khya holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, along with a strong passion for working with people.
Alison (Ali) Rose
Ali grew up in Hobart and lives locally on the Eastern Shore with her family. She was in the first fast-track nursing course in Hobart, and worked in hospital nursing roles until she moved to general practice nursing in 2017.
Dr Alison Thurstans
Alison grew up in Tasmania and graduated from UTAS in 1996. She went on to work and complete her training in the UK and WA before returning to Tasmania in 2004.Alison has worked in general practice on the eastern shore since 2006 and also teaches medical students at UTAS.
Dr Alice Stoneman
Alice graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2014 and attained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020.
Dr Victoria Whelan
Victoria graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2004 and spent time working in the hospital system in Australia and New Zealand before returning to Hobart in 2009 to commence a career in General Practice.
Kieran Frampton
Kieran is the founder of Glebe Hill Family Practice, managing the planning, construction and business development of Glebe Hill Family Practice from concept to reality. Kieran and Alice Frampton opened Glebe Hill Family Practice in January 2017, and opened GHFP Nurture in October 2022.
Dr Frances Rose
Frances grew up on the East Coast of Tasmania before moving to Hobart to complete high school and graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2010. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.
