Dr Lisa Clarke
Lisa grew up in Hobart and obtained her medical degree at UTAS in 2005. She spent the next 6 years working in many different areas of medicine across Australia and New Zealand, which provided a great breadth of experience prior to commencing her specialty training in General Practice. She received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
The thing that Lisa loves most about general practice is really getting to know people and looking after them over time, and feels that it is a great privilege to get to know people in this way.
Lisa is passionate about preventative care and enjoys working with patients to help make positive changes. This includes healthy eating, being active, sleeping well, good self-care, and health screening. Lisa values and provides evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Lisa practices as a GP at GHFP Nurture part time, and is Regional Director of Training (Tas) at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys family, friends, fitness, good food and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
