Eleanor (Ellie) joined the GHFP team in October 2025. 

Ellie grew up in Northwest England and moved to Tasmania at the age of 13. She graduated from University of Tasmania in 2021. Ellie previously worked in an acute hospital setting at the Royal Hobart Hospital and is excited for this new journey into primary healthcare. Ellie is passionate about meeting new patients and making a difference to their health outcomes.

In her spare time, Ellie loves baking, reading, walking her dog Louis, and anything arty or creative.

GHFP - Michael Connolly, Primary Care Pharmacist

Michael joins the GHFP team in September 2025 as the practice's first Primary Care Pharmacist and the second pharmacist in Tasmania to work within a general practice. The Primary Care Pharmacist role is to support General Practitioners, and the broader practice team, to provide quality care for their patients.

Michael is a Hobart born and bred pharmacist who completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) in 2001. He has over 20 years’ experience working as a clinical pharmacist in various hospitals in Tasmania and overseas. In these roles Michael worked side by side with doctors and nurses optimise medication management. He also has extensive lecturing experience in pharmacy education at the University of Tasmania with a focus on pharmacy practice and pharmacotherapeutics.

Michael has been involved with practitioner development programs in the workplace in Tasmania and Queensland – programs designed to fast-track practitioner development and improve patient care. Michael also works part-time for the Tasmanian Health Service and UTAS as well as working as an independent consultant pharmacist conducting Home Medication Reviews (HMR’s) around Hobart.

Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time with his young family and doing anything that involves playing, coaching or watching any number of sports!

BPhty (2013), GradDipClinRehab (2015) Flinders University

Dipali is a highly experienced physiotherapist who blends clinical expertise with a friendly, down-to-earth approach. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University in 2015. For over 12 years, she’s worked across private practice, hydrotherapy, and aged care — helping people from school-aged athletes to spirited great-grandparents move better and feel stronger. 

Dipali's skills cover the whole spectrum of care: orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, arthritis pain management, post-surgical rehab, disability support, persistent pain management, and recovery from workplace or motor vehicle accident injuries. Dipali can assist with injury assessment, ergonomic tune-ups, strength and conditioning programs, falls prevention, and return-to-work and return to sports plans that get clients back to doing what they love. In addition, Dipali can assist with manual therapy, dry needling, joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, myofascial techniques, sports taping and movement retraining. 

Outside the clinic, Diplali swaps physio tools for yoga mats, spice jars, and a garden trowel. She’s an avid practitioner of Isha Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and meditation. In the kitchen, Dipali loves creating aromatic Indian curries, experimenting with sourdough bread, and tending her garden.

Heather graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2018 and gained valuable experience working across a range of medical specialties at the Royal Hobart Hospital. She spent two years focusing on women’s health, during which she completed her Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). Heather has also worked in emergency medicine and completed the Sydney Child Health Program before commencing general practice in 2023.

Heather enjoys seeing patients of all ages and stages of life. She has a particular interest in women’s health and family planning, and is trained in IUD insertions and medical terminations of pregnancy.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her young family and keeping active through running.

Georgina started with GHFP in March 2025. Over the years Georgina has enjoyed working in reception and customer service roles. Outside of work, Georgina enjoys spending time with family and friends and looking after her 4 cats.

Enrolled Nurse

Danica Joined the GHFP team in March 2025. Following closely in her families' footsteps of working in healthcare, Danica graduated with a nursing diploma in 2021 and began her nursing career working in both General practice nursing and Hospital Medical nursing. 

In her free time, Danica enjoys spending time outdoors making memories with her two children, family and friends, French Bulldog Paisley and her cat Gus. 

Danica is excited to continue working in general practice, being able to meet and build rapport with patient's of both practices.

MBBS

Daniel was born and raised in Hobart and graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2018. He has spent time working at the Royal Hobart Hospital, as well as regional hospitals in Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, before returning back to Tasmania. 

Daniel enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially chronic disease and travel medicine. 

Outside of work Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling and spending time with his Golden Retriever, Mini.

Amy joined the GHFP team in July 2024. Amy enjoys her role in providing health care to the community.
